2016 Living Countryside Awards – Call for Entries

Who is making a positive difference to the local environment in your area?

Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) in Bedfordshire is seeking entries for its 2016 Living Countryside Awards. Entries. The awards recognise the initiatives that are enhancing Bedfordshire’s environment in four categories:

  • Biodiversity & landscape improvement
  • Sustainable enterprise
  • Buildling design & restoration
  • Youth Award – new this year to celebrate the great work schools and youth groups do

Businesses, groups, individuals and schools are all encouraged to apply.  If you’re aware of a potential entry in your local community, please encourage them to apply or give us some details so we can get in contact with them.

We’ve had some wonderful projects apply over the years and we feel sure there are many more that deserve recognition. The deadline is 13th June, and the simple application form can be found on our website www.cprebeds.org.uk or by contacting Lena Kingham at lena.kingham@cprebeds.org.uk or on 01234 353331.

We would like to encourage as many applicants as possible across all the categories. If you would like any more information or to discuss a potential application please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,

Lena Kingham
