Rainbows (aged 5-7 years), Brownies (aged 7 -10 years) and Guides (10 – 14+) in North Beds have been very busy celebrating World Thinking Day.
Approximately 90 Girls and leaders from Clapham, Oakley, Sharnbrook and Wymington met together at Lincroft School to have afternoon tea; making sandwiches and decorating cupcakes. They also followed a trail which involved using indoor skis and tossing pancakes. They made red hearts, edged with lace and leather friendship bracelets, as well as decorating Welsh lovespoons & challenging their memories in a teatime themed Kims game. After tea, everyone renewed their Promise and finished up with an indoor campfire, led by Trefoil Guild members (adults, 18+).
We always encourage new young members to join us and adult volunteers and Trefoil Guild members are also very warmly welcomed. For more information please e-mail Jane on firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.bedsguiding.org.uk
