THE WOMEN’S TOUR IS COMING TO BEDFORD BOROUGH
- The Women’s Tour comes to Bedford Borough on Thursday 8th May.
- It’s the country’s first ever international stage race for women.

Support the cyclists – line the route!
Thursday 8th May is the second and longest stage of the 5 day Women’s Tour. Starting in Hinckley, Leicestershire it travels south and enters Bedford Borough along Hinwick Road.
The cyclists will race past Harrold, Carlton, Turvey and Bromham and into Bedford. The peloton then passes through Bedford, offering superb vantage points for spectators along Kimbolton Road, Bedford Park, De Parys Avenue and the High Street before a sprint finish along The Embankment.
Please come out, line the route and cheer the cyclists on; the route takes the cyclists through both rural and urban areas, and with so many fantastic cycling champions involved, it will be a truly memorable spectacle for all members of the community to enjoy.
